Our stay at By The Bay was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was beautifully clean and the towels were the softest we had during our entire trip. The attention to detail was evident, including the lovely amenities provided such as coffee, tea, and complimentary water in the mini fridge. Although the room was a bit small, it was comfortable and well-organized, making it easy to settle in. The breakfast provided was delicious, and we enjoyed friendly conversations with our hosts. The location of the B&B was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. The nearby Kilmarnock Arm served great food, ensuring we didn't have to travel far for a meal. Despite a small inconvenience with the check-in time, our overall experience was positive and we would highly recommend By The Bay for a short stay. we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning in the future.

During Christmas, I stayed at a cozy bed & breakfast located near Slain Castle, just a short walk from the beach. The owners were very attentive and friendly, offering a delicious breakfast and maintaining a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The location was convenient, with parking right outside and a small shop straight down the road. The view from the room was overlooking the beautiful golf course, offering a serene and peaceful feeling.
The room I stayed in was a bit small, but the cleanliness far exceeded my expectations, making up for the lack of space. Although the back view was a bit disappointing, the location and friendly owners more than made up for it. The only inconvenience was the check-in time since the schedule was not well communicated beforehand.

Spotless and cozy B&B located close to the beach and with easy access to a small shop and a pub nearby. The room was modern and immaculate, with a large walk-in shower and views over the golf course. The breakfast was excellent, and the atmosphere lovely.
The room was a bit small, but it was still comfortable. The back view was not as expected, and we would have preferred a view towards the bay.
